Wind your jockey wheel until the coupling lines up with the tow bar adapter or tow ball if you are using a traditional trailer hitch system. Remove the hitch pin as you roll the trailer gently forward so that the coupling and adapter line up. On a trailer with a tow ball coupling, the coupling should be sitting just above the tow ball. Insert the hitch pin and secure with the o-ring clip at the base of the pin.

August 03, , We have 2 propane tanks on the tongue to run the stove, a sink with a hand pump, and that is all she wrote. We used to be pretty rustic campers even though I have grown rather accustomed to cgs with showers and toilets, I don’t mind pit or vault toilets. We have the solar shower bags, shower tent, and water jugs to carry water in when we get to the property. I was jsut worried we would forget something vital over miles from home.

The site has a small climbing frame and swings for the children and plenty of parking for boats and trailers by prior arrangement only Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a short lead whilst on the park and under control at all times. Over half of our pitches have electric hook-up points. There are numerous drinking water standpipes dotted around the park.
Our camping pitches are open all year round and accept any size tent or small VW with electric hook-up available. We also have campfires and BBQ’s available.
Enjoying a peaceful location only one mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis, Hook Farm encompasses over five acres of camping pitches, as well as hard standing for motor homes and a number of static caravans available for hire. Campgrounds with Full Hook-Ups in Alaska Sure camping in the local Walmart saves a few bucks but running the generator for hours upon hours just to power the coach is not really what I’m looking for in an all out Alaskan experience.

The short answer is, why not? Unless we are in a terrible hurry, we hook-up to water, sewer, and electric. We do our darndest not to get in a terrible hurry. We retired to avoid terrible hurries. We have boondocked in many places and we are very open to stealth camping as well. Campground preferences include dry camping to full boondocking. We actually prefer no campgrounds simply because we prefer the serenity and the ability of our dog children to run around without worrying about other campers.
I usually leave the sewage hose stowed until then. More often we take electric and water sites which tend to be more available. We have also started to use the Harvest Hosts locations which offers no hook-up sites.
